The invention relates to packaging machines and particularly to such machines adapted for "pacl'zagi'ng of nails, screws and the like. In such machines the most practicable' feed and counting arrangements have included inclined chutes or slots across which the heads of the nails, screws, or other objects lie, 'Whilethe" shanks of-the articles hang pendant through the slot.
