Our invention relates to a tent-head fixture for use in inhalational oxygentherapy, whether the oxygen be fused alone'or mixed with other gases (particularly carbonl diox "f ide) iny the treatment ofl pneumonia, as-y phyxia, and other disorders in which the respiration of air mixed with oxygen, or oxygen and other gases, is a therapeutic advantage, the object being to produce a-unitary 0 inhalational apparatusconstructed with particular reference to simplicity and compactness, convenience of transportation andoperation, installation without loss of time, and efficacy in use.
5 With these ends in view, our invention con# sists in an inhalational tent-head fixture chiefly characterized'by-` the installation of thev injector and the refrigerating means in it to form a unitarystructureto be transported, handled and operated as such.

2. A tent-head fixture for inhalational therapy having a body provided with airports, an ice-container suspended within the body, from the sides and bottom of which it is separated by cooling-spaces, a mixingchamber surrounded by the ice-container and opening downward, an injector coordinated with the mixing-chamber, and means for supplying gas to the injector, whereby the expired air is drawn from the tent through the said ports into the said cooling-spaces and thence into the mixing-chamber, from which it is discharged, by the suction created by the injector.
3. A tent-head fixture for inhalational therapy having a body provided with ports, an ice-container suspended within the body, from the sides of which it is separated by a cooling-chamber, a mixing-chamber surrounded by the ice-container and communicating with the said cooling-chamber, an injector coordinated with the mixing-chamber, means for supplying gas to the injector, whereby the expired air is subjected to the action of ythe cooling-chamber and thence drawn into the mixing-chamber by the suction createdby the injector, and means for insulating the bottom of the body from the ice-container and cooling-chamber.
4. A tent-head fixture for inhalational therapy having a body provided with ports, a funnel rising within the center of the body and opening downwardly therethrough, an ice-container set within the body and smaller in diameter than the same to form an annularV cooling-chamber between them, a mixingchamber located within the ice-container and forming a part thereof, an injector mounted in the mixing-chamber, means for supplying gasto the injector, whereby the expired air is drawn through the said ports. into the cooling-chamberV and thence into the mixingchamber and funnel by the suction created by the injector.
5. A tent-head fixture for inhalational therapy having a body provided with airports, a funnel rising from the center of the body and opening downward therethrough, an ice-container located within the body and dimensioned for producing cooling-chambers between the sides and bottom of the same, a centrally-located mixing-chamber rising within the ice-container and carried thereby, an injector applied to the mixing-chamber into which the funnel rises for coaction with the injector, and a gas-pipe mounted in the ice-container, extending thereinto and connected with the injector, whereby the expired air is drawn by the suction created by the said injector from the tent suspended from the fixture-head through the said ports and cooling-chambers into the mixing-chamber and' funnel-,from which it is discharged upont-hek patient. v j fr 6. A tent-headA fixture .for inhalational therapy having a body provided with airports, a centrally-located ydownwardly-,openwith the interior of the said tent for removing air therefrom and reintroducing the same thereinto; refrigerating-means located in the said head and associated with the said air-circulatingpassage inthe tent-head for cooling air passing therethrough; and a gasinjector opening into the said air-circulating passage in the said tent-head in such manner as to cause a forced draft therethrough to remove air from the said tent for being cooled by the said refrigerating-means and to force the now cooled air back into said tent, plus an admixture of gas from the said gas-injector. v
