IMPROVEMENT IN DOOR-CHECKS.

To all whom it may concern:

Be in known that I, CHARLES HENRY Os- BORN, of Griffins Mills, in the county of Erie and Sta-te of New York, ha-ve made certain Improvements in Door-Fasteners, of Which the followiug is a specificatiou:

The inveutiou oonsists in its general con-' struction, as hereinafter desoribed.

In the drawings, Figure 1 is an elva-tion, showing; the fasteuer in positon attached to the inside of a door, aud the poiut s penetrating the fioor. Fig'. 2 is also an elevation, showing the fasteuer wben rased, andwith the hook in place to hold it up clear of tbe floor..

The upper portion is constructed With a long slot or opening, b, in which a pivot-pio, 0, with a head sets and fastens into the (1001. -This is the only attachment ot' che main .piece '00 the (1001. Tbe operaton of tbe device is smple, as follows: The (1001 being shut, the book 61 is swung oi' from che piu 9. It is simple, strong, cheap, and entirely practical.
