comprising a post, an arm extending laterally therefrom provided at one end with a clamp whereby to secure the arm atthe desired vertically adjusted positions on the post and a Y-shaped suspension member extending angularly of the arm and including a shank having a tapered pin and said arm being provided with an opening having a tapered bore, and said pin fitting in said bore, and means for urging said pinaxially of the bore for securing the same therein.
2. A sign support comprising an arm having an aperture, the bore of which isconical, a substantially Y-shaped member for carrying the sign and having one arm thereof provided with a tapered pin fitted Within the bore of said aperture and means for securing the pin wedged in said bore.
3. ln a device of the class described, in combination, a sign support including a member for carrying the sign and having a shank extension merging into a tapered pin, a supporting arm having an aperture through which the pin extends, means for securing the pin within the aperture against casual displacement, and clamping means connected with the arm for securing the latter at the desired adjustment on a support.
.4. In a device of the class described, in combination, a supporting member corrugated on opposite sides thereof, and having a rib projecting laterally from one of said sides, an arm having one end engaging said one side of the support, and at said one end being slotted longitudinally to accommodate said rib, a clamping plate engaging the other corrugated side of the support and securing means-connecting said plate with the proXi-.
mate end of said arm for forcing said end of the arm and plate a into clamping position upon said support.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature.
