A curtain carrier comprising, a carrier body, a shoe pivoted to said carrier body and having a gripping surface adjacent to one end thereof, and means to operate said shoe, whereby when said shoe is operated a curtain cord will be clampedjbetween said gripping surfaceand said carrier'body. 2.
