It is obvious that the invention is susceptible of various changes and modifications Without departing from the spirit of the same or the scope of the appended claims, and l accordingly claim all such forms of the invention to Which I am entitled.
I claim:
1. A control attachment interposed be tween a lace machine and its operating jacquard comprising a flexible bar, operating means therefor, means releasably retaining bar and means attached to the jacquard for periodically releasing said bar retaining means. a

In a control attachment interposed between a lace machine and its operating jacquard comprising an operating har extending from the acquard and operated thereby to the machine, a drum having one end of the bar secured thereto, a cog-Wheel attached to the drum and arranged for rotation there with, a working arm opera-tively connected to the jacquard of the machine, a stop, a release rod, said stop and said release rod being o'peratively connected to the jacquard, means for engaging said stop With the cog-Wheel and means associated With the release rod for controlling the engagement or disengagelnent of the Working arm and stop With the cog-Wheel.
