This invention relates to certain improvements in disinfecting apparatus and itis an object of the invention to provide a device of this kind adapted to be placed ina pocket' 5 or recess within a wall and wherein the apparatus is provided with a carry-olf vent into which the apparatus discharges, said ventA providing means to prevent clogging of the tageous for use, as will be hereinafter more 2c fully set forth. i

The novel features ofmy invention wil hereinafter be definitely claimed.

In order that my invention may be the better understood, l will now proceed to describe the same with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein FigureY 1 is avertical sectional view taken through a mausoleum illustrating an apparatus constructed in accordance with an embodiment of my invention in applied position with respect to each of the crypts;

As 'disclosed in the accompanying drawings, M denotes a mausoleum in which is provided a vertical'series of crypts C.

The side wall 1 of each of the crypts is provided in its inner face with a recess or 510 and which is divided by a vertical partition partment or `flue'memberlO, positive means pocket 2 in which is adapted to be applied 3l into two compartments 4 and 5, the compartrnent 4 being adapted to contain disinfecting crystals while the compartmentr is adapted to contain granular material,'such assand, sand-and plaster Paris and the like. As is particularly illustrated in Figure 1, it is to be noted that each of the crypts has a separate vent or duct 14 in communication therewith so that the circulation through loo each of the crypts is no way aEect-ed by the circulation through the others.
