This invention relates to improvements in toothbrushes, and aims, among other things, dental floss to provide a toothbrush havinga container thereon towards the extremity of 5 thehandle remote from the the container projecting at, an angle to the direction of theintermediate portion of the handle so that the'latter may be employed as a bow from which a portion of'the floss means on the handle adjacentthe bristles and a second holdingmeans onthe container. A toothbrush consisting of a handle having bristles mounted thereon towards one extremity, a container towards the opposite extremity of the handle inclined at an angle to the intermediate portion of the latter, a cap on said container having an aperture therethrough throughwhich a thread of dental floss contained in the container extends, means on the cap for holding one portion of the thread, and means on the handle adj acent the bristles for holding another portion of the thread so that that portion of the thread which lies between the two holding means is held taut and spaced from the intermediate portion of the handle.

A toothbrush consisting of a handle having bristles mounted thereon towards one extremity, a container formed in the handle adjacent its other extremity, the container lying obliquely relative to the extremity of the handle on which the bristles are mounted, a removable cap on said container having an aperture therethrough through which a thread of dental floss contained in the container extends, means on the cap for holding a portion of the thread, and means on the handle adjacent the bristles for holding another portion of the thread so that that portion of the thread which lies between the two holding means may be held tautand spaced from the intermediate portion of the handle.
