' The inclined trough 57 is provided at its upper end with a vertical elbow 58, which carries an annular band 59 adapted to be received within the bottom opening 56 of the bracket. The bottom of the bracket is split radially at 60 and a screw 61 threaded transversely of the slit 60 serves to contract the opening 56 to engage and lock the annular band 59' in any one of its pivotally adjusted positions.
The lower end of the trough 57 is provided with a vertical wall 62 which serves as an end closure to retard the travel of the coins down the .trough and direct-them downwardly through an opening'63 provided at the bottom of the trough;
Depending from the trough 57is a lug 64: to which is secured an annular bracket 65 which is provided in its bottom with a circular opening 66 for the reception ofastud 67 carried by the bottom of a coin receiving cup 68.
lThe cup 68 is elongated, as shown in Fig ures 1 and 3, and has its bottom inclined downwardly'toward the outer end. The inner end of the cup, which carries the stud 67, is positioned directly below the opening 63 in the trough 57. Thus, the coins passing down the trough will be: discharged through the openings 63 into the cup where they can be removed by the customer. As shown in Figures 3 and hthe bottom of the bracket 65 is slotted radially and a screw threaded in the bottom transversely of the slit serves to contract the opening 66 to engage and lock the stud'67 in any one of its lateral adjusted po sitions. From the foregoing description it will be readily seen that by the arrangement of the spout provided the coin receiving cup may be positioned at any point within a predetermined area about the machine, by means of the pivotal adjustment of the trough with relation to thebracket 55,'and the pivotal adjustment of the cup 68 withrelation to the free end of the trough 57. 1
In the use of coin deliverymachines,the same are often placed on counters provided with wickets or windows IV, indicated in dotted linesin Figure 1, and it will be readily appreciated that in order to place the machine in a position for convenient operation, itis essential and in'lportant that the delivery spout permit of adjustment in order that the coin receiving cup. may be properly'positioned withrelation to the wicket, or other position within reach of the person removingvthe coins. This is accomplished in a simple and efficient manner by the foregoing structure which will allow the machine torbe placed many position with relation to the-surrounding fixtures, and at the'same time willperrnit the delivery spoutvto be quickly adjusted to accommodate various arrangements,such as is disclosed by the various dotted positions of the spout in Figure 1. r
In'the drawings the spout is shown at tached to the left side of the machine and adjusted to deliver coins to the rear thereof. In the event it is desired to deliver coins to the opposite sides of the machine, the plate 54 is removed and the bracket 55 is secured in its place, asdisclosed in dotted lines in Figure 1, and the plate 54 is then utilized to close the opening on the left side of the machine. To accommodate the foregoing arrangement the chute 57 is removed and mounted in reverse position to discharge coins to the right side of the machine.
As illustrated and described, the trough and receiving cup may then be adjusted to discharge to any position within a limited area about the machine which includes that position shown in dotted lines at the right of the machine in Figure 1. g I

the present application being devoted to my invention involving the use of the two point adjustable relationship of the spent and cup.
I claim: i 1. In combination with a coin delivery machine, a coin delivery spout comprising a bracket for attachment to one side of said machine, said bracket having an opening in its side adjacent said machine and openings in its top and bottom, an, inclined open trough provided with an opening in its lower end and having its upper end rotatably adjustable within the bottom opening of said bracket, a bracket carried by the lower end of said trough, and a horizontally'disposed coin receiving cup adj ustably carried by said trough and alined with the opening in the lower end of said trough, said cup being positioned closely adjacent thetable ormachine support.
2. A coin bracket for attachment to a coin delivery machine, said bracket having an open top and bottom and an opening in the attaching side through'which coins enter, an openinclined trough provided with a vertical endwallat delivery spout comprising a a its lower end and an opening in its bottom adjacent said wall,and having its upperend rotatably connected to the bottom of said bracket to receive coins therefrom, a bracket carried by the lower end of said trough, an
having one end communicating with the opening in said trough and its opposite end projecting beyond said opening, whereby coins may be readily removed from the cup, means for locking the cup in adjusted position with relation to the trough, and means for locking the trough in adjusted position.
3. The combination ofa coin delivery machine, a coin delivery spout comprising a bracket for attachment to one side of said machine, said bracket having an opening in the side adjacent said machine, and openings in its top and bottom, an inclined open trough provided with an opening in its lower end and having its upper end adjustably connected to said bracket and alined with its bottom opening, and a horizontally disposed receiving cup adjustably carried by the lower end of said trough and alined with the opening therein, said trough being positioned closely adjacent the table or machine support.

The combination of a coin delivery machine, a coin delivery spout comprising a' bracket for attachment to one side of said machine, said bracket having an opening in its side adjacent said machine, and openings in its top and bottom, an inclined open trough provided with an opening in its lower end and having its upper end adjustably connected to said bracket and alined with the bottom opening therein, a horizontally disposed coin receiving cup alined with the opening in the lower end of said trough, and interengaging means between said cup and trough to permit relative horizontal adjust ment of the two, said cup being positioned closely adjacent the table or the machine support. 4
5. The combination of a coin machine, a
coin delivery spout comprising a bracket for attachment to one wall of the machine, said bracket having an opening in communication 7 with the machine, an opening in the bottom of the bracket, a downwardly inclined trough provided with an opening in its lower end and having its upper end adjustablyconnected to said bracket and alined with its bottom opening, and a receiving cup adjustably carried by the lower end of said trough and alined with the opening therein.
