IMPROVEMENT IN ADJUSTMENTS FOR HARVESTER-PLATFORMS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 181.359, dated August 22, 1876; application filed May 27, 1876.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SAMUEL NOXON, Jr., of Ingersoll, Province of Ontario, Canada, have invented a new and Improved Harvester- Table Lifter, of which the following is a specification: I
The object of this invention is to produce an efficient contrivance to facilitate the adjusting of the outside of the table of a har-' vester for adjusting the cutters to the required height. It consists of a toothed segment on the hub of the arm of the grain-wheel, which is pivoted to a support attached to the table, and a lever with a toothed end gearing therein, and being pivoted to a rigid arm of the support, to which the wheel-arm is pivoted,
so that the height of said support, and consequently that of 'the table to which the support is attached, will be governed by the height of the levers.
Figure 1 is a side elevation of a harvestertable and grain-wheel contrived according to my invention. Fig. '2 is a plan view; and Fig. 3 is a section on line as m, Fig. 1.
