The child at the call box, opens the door and moves the cord 15 by a downward pull on the handle 18. The movement of the cord opens the doors of the fire house and sounds the gong 27, as hereinbefore explained, and the rotation of the shaft of the pulley 17 in the call box, sounds the gong 19 by actuation of its clapper through the instrumentality of the trip on the shaft.

What I claim and desire to secure by Let ters Patent is:

1. A toy call-box for the operation of a toy fire-house at a distant point, comprising a portable stand having a foot for its loose support in an operative condition on a surface, an element adapted for the operation of an actuated part of the toy fire-house, means on the stand for the operative support of the element, and an alarm operatively associated with said means.

2. A toy call-box for the operation of a toy fire-house at a distant point, comprising a portable stand having a "foot for its loose support in an operative condition on a surface, an element for the operation of an ac tuated part of the toy fire-house, including means for its connection with said part, means on the stand for the operative support of the element, and an alarm operatively associated with the element.

3. A toy call-box for the operation of a toy fire-house at a distant point, comprising a portable stand having a foot for its loose support in an operative condition on a surface, and a pull-cord operatively supported by the stand, and means on the pull-cord for its connection with an actuated part of the toy firehouse.

4. A toy call-box :tor the operation of a toy fire-house at a distant point, comprising a portable stand having a foot for its loose support in an operative condition on a surface, a pulley at the foot of the stand, a second pulley on the stand above the other, a pull cord supported by the pulleys for lengthwise motion, and having means for its connection with an actuated part of the fire-house, an alarm on the stand, and means associated with one of the pulleys for sounding the alarm by movementthereof.

5. A toy call-box for the operation of a toy fire-house at a distant point, comprising a portable stand having a foot for its loose support in an operative condition on a sur face, and including a pedestal and a doorclosed box on the pedestal, a pull-cord hav ing means for its connection with an actuated partof the fire-house, means in the box for the operation of the pull-cord, and a pulley at the foot of the pedestal to guide the pull-cord in a lengthwise movement.

. 6. A toy call-box for the operation of'a toy fire-house at a distant point, comprising aportable stand having a foot for its loose support in an operative condition on a sursignature.
