When the handle is in the position shown as Fig. 3 it will be seen that the teeth 82 and 83 on the clutch member 81 are not in engagement with the bev-el gears 84 or 85 and therefore the horizontal wringer shaft 7 7 is idle. By moving the handle 98 in one direction the teeth on one side of the clutch member will engage the teeth in one of the bevel gears and cause the wringer rollers 94 to rotate it, being understood, of course, that suitable connection is made between thev drive shaft 77 and the wringer rollers 94, so that the rollers will rotate in opposite directions.
