The invention comprises 1n combination with the structure shown the u oermost centrally positioned or disc-'like section, this section forming the hollow container 88 having the downwardly directed neck 39 which is interiorly threaded for the reception ot the nipple or threaded pipe section 40 which serves to bindthis container 38 in communication with the centrally positioned or disc-like sections below. An upwardly projecting neck 4l is interiorly threaded tor the reception oi one end 'ot the pipe section 42, the other end of which projects through the opening in the dome 43 and is retained in position therein by the jam nut 44 and the packing 45. Formed in the lower wall 46 of this containerBS are a plurality of openings 47. Threaded into these openings 47 are nipples orpipe sections 48, which serve to bind the lower wall 46 to the outer section positioned therebelow. A vsimilar nipple or pipe section 49 is threaded into an opening formed in the top wall 50 and into an opening formed in the base of the dome 43. In the structure` shown, I have provided three sets of these openings so that the container 38 comprises a central main body portion communicating through passages 51 with the space 52and through the openings 49 with the `lowermost section and the dome 43. It will be noted in Fig. 2 that the walls 53 and 54 which define the space or chamber 52,'do not extend Yaround the container 38 completely but terminate at the forward side of the boiler to provide a cleanout space 55 which is normally closed by the door 56;
By connecting the central positioned sections through the container 88 with the in terior of the outer sections, the water level may be maintained at a point below the upper wall 5G of the container 38 and when this water is heated so that boiling or bubbling will take effect in the innermost sections, on account of the communication with the outer sections, a forcing ofthe water through the pipe section 42 will be prevented, thus assuring a drier steam than would be 4the case were the container'o to be replaced with one of the lower positioned central sections.
The upper section or container 3S may, from the description given, be properly described as a section having a central circular portion surrounded by and communicating' with a circular tubular ring portion, this ring portion communicating through openings with the outer section.
While I have illustratedv and 'described the preferred form of my` invention',` I do not wish to limit myself to the precise detailsof structure shown, but desire to avail myself of such variations and modifications as come within the scope of the appended claims.
Having thus described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
l. A furnace ot the class described, comprising: a plurality of duplicate double walled sections, with the spaces between said walls in intercommunication, the inner wall oi' each of said sections being bulged inwardly away Jfrom the outer wall, a plurality ot centrally disposed discnlike hollow intercommunicating members enclosed by saidrdouble walled sections, the edges of adjacent discflike members extending in overlapping spaced relation to said bulged walls, thespace between said bulged walls and said disc-like members forming sinuous passages for the escape of gas, a supporting section comprising spaced walls from continuations of the walls of the double walled sections, the space between said walls being in communication with the space between said double walled sections, a centrally disposed hollow globe shaped container connected to said supporting section and said disc-like members and establishing communication between the enclosed spaces of said sections and members and providing support :tor said disc-like members, atop disc-like section in intercommunication with said disc-like member, a ring partially embracing said top disc-like section and communicating therewith and resting upon and communicating with the uppermost of said double walled sections, a hollow top section communicating with said top disc-like section and with said double walled sections, and having an exit flue in communication with said sinuous passages said supporting section enclosing a combustion chamber space.-

A furnace of the class described, com* prising: a plurality of duplicate double walled sections, with the spaces between said walls in intercommunication, the inner wallV of each of said sections beingbulged inwardly away from the outer wall, a plurality of centrally disposed disc-like hollow intercommunicating members enclosed by said double walled sections, the edges of adjacent disc-lille members extending in overlapping spaced relation to said bulged walls, the space between said bulged walls and said disc-like members forming sinuous passages for the escape of gas, a supporting section comprising spaced walls from continuations of the walls of the double walled sections, the space between said walls being in communicationl withr the space between said doubled walled sections, a centrally disposed hollow globe shaped container connected to said supporting section and said 'disc-like' members and establishing communication between the enclosed spaces of said sections and members and providing support for said dise-like members, a top `disoelike hollow section communicating at its central portion with said dso-lkemembers and havinge hollow portion overlying the uppermost of saddouhle walled sections and oom.-
