The foot-board is construeted of two parts or sections, G 311d F, connected together by hinges, and when drawn 01111 and extended, is kept in phwe by a brace, H, hinged on the seetion G by a pin 7, and when the foot-board is extended, the end of the brace is placed agninst: the rang ot' the ohair ab W. There is a groove in the edge of F, Whioh slid es on a way or cleat; 011 the inside of the frame of the ehair seat, and when this foot-board is folded back it is kept in its 1)]?L06 by the spring P and pin p, as before described.
