Be it known that I, CHAS. A. BA ILEY, of Cobalt,in the county of Middlesex, and in the State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Toy Bells; and do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanyingdrawings, and to the letters ot'reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification.

My invention relates to toy bells; and it consists in the construction of the same, as-

- will be hereinafter more fully set forth.

In order to enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to make and use the same, I will now proceed to describe its construction and operation, referring to the annexed drawing, in which- Figure 1 is a side elevation of my invention. Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section of the same.

' rims of which form the rockers B B, and which are connected at their ends by rounds or bars C C D is a rod or bar connecting theframes A in'the center at the top, and to said rod is attached a bell, E, depending from the same, and on top is an ornamental figure, G. More than one bell may be attached to the rod D, if desired. g Y

The toy bell thus constructed may be rocked back and forth, or drawn across the floor by a string, a, attached to one of the rods C.
