It has been heretofore mentioned that to utilize two openings for'making a single numeral or letter, first a portion of one opening is used as a guide in forming a part of thele'tter and thereupon the; strip a is slid along on thesurface of the drawing paper to bring thesecond pening in proper alignment to form the balance of the letter.
