Our inventionrelates to improvements in top spinning devices and has for 1ts primary object to provide a novel and improved device of this character which will be verysimple and inexpensive in construction, and highly eflicient in practical use,it being pos sible with the use of our device to keep alarge number of tops spinning at the same time.

Another object of the invention is'to provi de a top spinning device which may be used with the ordinary top spinning cord and which obviates the necessity of applying the cord to substantially the entire conical portion of the top as is usually necessary,thus making it possible to quickly arrange the cord to brlng about the necessary co-relation between the cord and top toefi'ect a spin of the latter.

The invention also resides in certainnovel features of construction, combination and arrangement of the various parts and in modes of operation,all of which will be readlly apparent to those skilled in the art upon reference to the accompanying drawing 1n connection with the detailed description ap pearing hereinafter.

\Vhile the drawing illustrates the now preferred form of the invention,yet it is to be understood that the same is capable of other mechanical expressions within the spiritand scope ofthe subject matter claimed hereinafter. i V
