This invention relates to a mop handle attachment and has for its object to provide an attachment which may be readily secured to a mop handle and from which the mop handle may bede-tached by pivotal-movement with respect to the attachment. 7 It is a further object of this invention to provide a mop handle attachment adapted to be pivotally connected to a mop handle and provided with means for locking said mop handle during a greater part of its range of pivotal movement. 7

Other and further important objects of this invention will be apparent from the disclosures'in the specification and the accompanying drawings. I

A mop handle attachment comprising a ferrule having an apertured end, a member to which a mop may be secured, apertured means pivotally mounted on said member and adapted to be inserted into said ferrule with said apertures coinciding, and means secured to said member adapted to extend through said coinciding apertures only during a part of the distance through which said pivotally mounted means may be moved.
