, This present invention relates to new and useful improvements in a churn and has for its primary object the provision of. a churn insert of simple and improved construction and operation which may be readily employed in-theouter casing or tankof a conventional type of clothes washer and the operating means of thelatter employed; for op erating, the operative parts of the churn insert. c.

.Another object of the inventionresides in theprovision of a churn of the character stated which is of simple construction and ineludes aspecial form of dolly which fits on thecentral shaft of the washing machine and operates with said shaft. 1 A further object of the invention resides in the provision of a churn of the character stated which is formed in such a manner that the tank of the churn insert rests on the bot.-

The draining of the it will be manifest that a churn is provided that will fulfill all the necessary requirements of such a device but as many changes could be made in the above description and many apparently widely different embodiments of my invention may be constructed within the scope of the appended claim without depart ing from the spirit or scope thereof, it is in-V tended that all matters contained in the said accompanying. specification and drawings, shall be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limited sense.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is A churn insert including the combination with the operating shaft of a washing ma chine and a churn dolly accommodating insert tank removably mounted thereon; of a churn dolly comprising a large lower cross and a small upper cross; pairs of radiating upstanding dolly panels having spaced vertical inner edges and curved outer edges in creasing thewidth of the lower portions of said panels; said panels having reduced lower and upper extensions engaged respectively in slots in the radial arms of said large lower cross and said small upper cross and means for securing said extensions in their respective slots; said dolly being adapted for re movable mounting on the upper end of the said operating shaft-of the washing machine within the said' churn dolly accommodating insert tank and adapted for rotation with said shaft.
