A corset having a suitably braced body portion encircling the back of the figure and overlapping the hips, the upper edge of the corset being on the waistline of the figure and the lower edge of the corset extending to a point below the hips, pliable connecting strips at each side of the body portion, an abdominal supporter connecting said pliable side strips, said abdominal support having an unbroken front and a lower edge curved to follow the contour of the lower part of the abdomen, a quick detachable means at one side only of said abdominal support, comprising hook and eye members, buckle and strap means for relatively permanently adjusting said pliable connecting strips, means for adjusting the lower part only of said abdominal support, comprising a pair of laced slits, one adjacent each side thereof, and extending partway from the lower edge of the abdomen support upwardly, but
terminating short of the waistline, and wing portions connected to the'body portion of the corset located below and separate from the abdominal support, said wing portions having-adjusting means for the control of the hips, the adjusting means comprising a pair of laced slits located immediately below said pliable connecting side strips.
