In the views the character designates the building with the entrance thereto at 16. Installed u on the frontwall above the entrance is a pluralit of flexible steel rolling doors 70 covered with hoods 17, 17" and 17*, the rolling doors being of the usual construction with winding shafts 12 and end brackets 13. These rolling doors are preferably counstationary corner posts requires curtain opterbalanoed, as usual in that ty so that each of them can be easil unrolleifiind rolled up and remain in rolled u condition when the means for performing t cse operations is removed. 55 Mounted on the wall of the building-above the hoods of the rolling-doors are suitable brackets 18, to the lower faces of which are secured strips 19 provided with car trolley tracks 20, 20, extending parallel to the tops of the hoods. 21 designates a stout frame of reversed C-form, roughly, as viewed in Fig. 2, to the lower arm of which is secured a post 23 having curtain guiding and retaining channels 24 at its opposite vertical sides to receive and guide the adjacent edges and margins of two of the doors or curtains. Only the intermediate posts require two door gui ing channels and only one of the end or 7o crating means. The upper arm of the frame 21 is equipped with suitable trolleys 25 that engage the tracks 20, 20, said tracks and trolleys supporting the frame 21, the post 23' and the parts attached thereto, and permit- 1 ting the horizontal movement of said parts across the entrance of the building.

n the present instance the power used to wind and unwind the curtain is electrical 1 and the curtain roller'is shown as provided with a large bevel gear engaged by a bevel pinion 51 fixed to the outer end of the shaft 52 of-an ordinary electric motor 53 supported on asuitable bracket 54 secured to the inner side of the wall. The electric circuit for the motor 53 includes wires 55 that terminate in suitable fixed contacts 56 in a suitable frame a 57 secured to the lintel of the doorway. The circuit connecting device is carried on the inner end of a lever 58 that extends through the post 23 and is fulcrumed on a bracket 59.
The circuit connecting device has a plate 9; 60 for carrying spring supported contacts 60 to close with the contacts 56, and its position for connecting and extending the circuits is controlled manually by a chain 61 I that passes through a flexing member 62 and a chain detaining device at 63 to hold the circuit closer up in circuit extending position when the electric motor is to be operated. When the post is to be moved horizontally after the curtain has been raised the chain 61 is removed from the detaining device at 63 and the closer allowed to drop by--gravity from its circuit extending position and so left until the post is tobe replaced for the closing of the curtain or door at which time the plate is again raised by drawing down the chain 61 and latching it as before described. The wires from the plate 60 are extended through a tube 64 on the front of the post to a box containin three spring push buttons, 65, 65 and 65 For the purpose of operating the motor, in direct or reverse to raise or lower the curtain and to stop the motor and curtain at any point desired. The plate 60 is provided with a wed e-shaped guiding ortion 66 that enters a soc et in the base oft e sti ucture carrying the contacts 56.
While I have shown and described the invention as applied to buildings for receiving aerial vehicles itwill be understood that the invention can be used in connection with any structure where it is desirable to close a wide opening or to remove a channel carrying post.
The forms of the parts can be changed without departing from the gist of the invention as claimed.
The present application is a division of an application filed by me November 12, 1927, Serial number 232,775.
What I claim is:
1. Incombination with a structure provided with a plurality of doors or curtains, a post having a guide for a. margin on one of said curtains, means for supporting said post permitting it to be slid laterally into and out of margin-guiding position, electrically operated power means for operating said doors or curtains and means carried by the post for causing the operation of said power means.

In combination with a structure provided with a plurality of doors or curtains, a post having a guide for a margin of one of said curtains, means for supporting said post permitting it to be slid laterally into and out of margin-guiding position, electrically operated means for raising and lowering said curtain, removable circuit sections extending from said electrically operated means connected with the post and means on 5.
