IMPROVEMENT IN SCREEN-DOORS.
Specication forming part of Letters Patent No. 177,657, dated May 23, 1876; application filed April 29, 1876.
To all whom, 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, JEREMIAH PALM, of Sandwich, State of Illinois, have invented an VImproved Combination-Door, of which the following is a specification:
The object of my invention is to provide a door which shall have the qualities of a screen or panel door, as may be desired, which is accomplished by the combination, in a hinged frame, of the screened door A and paneled door B, as shown in elevation in the drawing. The hinged frame A has upon its outer face a screen, C, the two constituting an ordinary screen-door. Within the frame is hinged upon its inner face, in the usual manner, the paneled door B by means of the removable hinges a a. The paneled portion is secured, when open, by a stop upon the wall, whichallows it to move laterally, but prevents it from closing when the screened frame is swung upon its hinges,v4
