The endless web 10 bearing the names of the months, extends transversely of the casing and is supported on spaced, vertically arranged rollers 11 and 12, journaled in brackets 13 secured to the side walls of the casing,
and the web along its upper edge is provided with a sprocket wheel 15 at its'upper end the andthe'teeth of thesprocket engage in the holes oaths web. The web bearing the days of the week is 'designated 27, and this web, which passes around the roller 20 is fashioned with a series of holes 28 along its inner edge to co-act with the sprocket wheel 22"of the roller 20. At

The knob is carriedat the'free end of a takeup lever or clutch lever 39 within the casing and pivoted at 40 on the inner face of the back wall of the casing. A spring41 con-' nected to the lever and anchored'at 42 on the casing holdsthe lever up and returns it to elevated position after it has been depressed, to move the webs 2'?- and 33, one stroke 'of" the lever being required to move the webs the distance between adjoining holes in the respec-tivewebs.
