Thisfinvention relates to ornamental devices. It is directed to a decorative Christmas wreath provided with an, electrical candle unit. 7 p v An object of this invention is to provide a wreath of the characterdescribe-d having improved means for-rigidly supporting the candle simulating 'member.

A; further object of this invention'is to provide a neat, rugged, and highly decorative wreath "of the character described which shall'berelatively inexpensive to manufacture comprise few andsimple parts easily assemble-d, and which shall practical andefficient in use.

The body '11 may be provided at-the top portion thereof with a loop 40 for suspending said wreath, and an ornament 11 may be secured to said body 11 in any suitable manner adjacent the illuminating device 12 to enhance the decorative effect.

It will thus be seen that there is provided a device in which the several objects of this invention are achieved, and which is well adapted to meet the conditions of practical use.

As various possible embodiments might be made of the above invention, and as various changes might be made in the embodiment above set forth, it is to be understood that all matter herein set forth or shown in-the accompanying drawing, is to be-interpreted as illustrative and not in a limiting sense.

, Having thus described my invention I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent:

' 1. In a wreath of the character described, a hollow core having an opening, a candle simulating member extending into said opening and projecting toward the center of the wreath, and means within said core for supporting said member, said means comprising a member attached to said core and projecting into the lower end of said tubular memher.

2. In an ornamental device, an annular member of substantially semi-circular crosssection having a tongue member integral therewith and extending from the outer edge portion thereof, and a tubular member receiving said tongue thru one end thereof, said annular member having a cut-out portion adjacent the inner edge portion thereof and in alignment with said tongue for receiving an intermediate portion of said tubular member.

, 3. A wreath comprising a pair of annular complementary sections of semi-circular cross-section, adapted to be fitted together to form an annular core, said sections having symmetrical cut-out portions registering to form an opening, and a candle simulating tubular member extending into said core thru said opening, one of said sections having anupstanding projection extending into the lower end of said tube.

4. A wreath comprising a pair of annular complementary sections of semi-circular cross-section adapted to be fitted together to form an annular core, said sections having symmetrical cut-out portions registering to form an opening, and a candle simulating tubular member extending into said core thru said opening, one of said sections having an upwardly extending tab portion projecting into the lower end of said member, a lamp socket secured within the upper end portion of said member and conductor wires secured to said socket and extending downwardly thru said tubular member.

5. A wreath comprising a'pair of annular complementary sections of semi-circular cross-section, adapted to be fitted together to form an annular core, said sections having symmetrical cut-out portions registering to form an opening, *and a candle simulating tubular member extending into said core thru said opening, one of said sections having an upwardly extending tab portion .projecting into the lower end of said member, a lamp socket secured within the upper end portionoi said member and conductor wires secured to said socket and extending downwardly thru said tubular member, said conductors being tied in a knot adjacent the undersurface of said core.

6. A wreath comprising a pair of annular complementary sections of semi-circular cross-section, adapted to be fitted together to form an annular core, said sections having symmetrical cut-out portions registering to form an opening, a candle simulating tubular member extending into said core thru said opening, and means disposed on an outer portion of the interior of said core engaging the end of said member.
