My invention-refers to shields for stoves, pipe 3 is slipped'over'the' collar 2, and there-V and it has for its object to provide a simple, after the clip. is; fitted about the collar T and economical and elfective shield which can end of the stove pipe tofirmly grip these be detachably anchored to the stove, whereby parts together, whereby said clip not only 5 heat therefrom is deflected from a juxtaserves to anchor the shield in' its adjusted 55 posedwall, the shield and stove being so position with relation to the stove, but it associated that said stove can be adjusted also serves to firmly lock the lower section back and forth with relation to the wall, of the stove pipe to the stove collar 2. while at the same timethe wall and fioor I-Ience, the stove and shield so assembled I can be readily cleaned, due to the fact that form a unit which can be adjustedwith'resaid shield is not in engagement witheither' lation to the walls and floor 'ofthe room to the floor or said wall. 7 a suit the convenience of the user. 7
With the above objects in view, the inven- It will be particularly observed that the tion consists in certain peculiarities of'conshield is under all conditions spaced from struction and combination of parts, as will the wall a predetermined distance, whereby 5 befully set forthwith reference to the acan air space between said wall and shield. 1
