W. WEINBERG DELIVERING APPARATUS FOR LIQUID SO AP Filed April 21. 1928 Patented June 10, 1930 Q UNITED, STATES WERNER WEINBERG, OF LUIDENSCHEID, GERMANY DELIVERING APPARATUS FOR LIQUID SOAP Application filed April 21, 1928, Serial No. 271,940, and in Germany May 3, 1927.
This invention relates to a delivering apparatus for liquid soap in which a container, having a charging tube at the one end and an air valve to be closed at the other end, is in serted into a wall bracket which has the shape of a basket open at the upper end, the container being then connected with a delivering device.
An embodiment of the-invention is illus- 10 trated, by way of example, in the only figure of theaccompanying drawing in side elevation, partly in section. v
V A container a, preferably cylindrical, designed for transporting and for delivering the liquid soap has on one end a threaded tube d which is closedby a'cap when the container 1 is to be transported. On the other end atuvbular extension is provided which serves as air vent and has a screw 6 to beclosed when the container is not to be used. I
A bracket 12 in the'shape of abasket open at the upper end and fixed on a wall plate 0- serves to hold the container (1. The wall plate 0 is removably mounted on hooks in the wall.
WVhen the container a has to be used for delivering liquid soap the basket shaped bracket 7) is detached from the wall and turned upside down and then placed over that end of the container at which has the charging tube V and the delivering device screwed on. The basket with the container is then turned over and the basket suspended on the wall whereupon the screw 6 in the air vent is opened.
The delivering device consists of a tube f and of a vertical cylinder 9 at the freeend of the tube. A piston 0 is movably mounted in the cylinder g. On the top.end of the piston rod m a knob 41. and on thelower end of the same a cone valve h is fixed designed to close the open lower end of the cylinder 9. Between the cylinder g and'the knob n a spiral spring ;0 is wound around the piston rod m. By depressing the rod m the quantity of liquid soap contained in the free space 72 of the cylinder is released, the piston 0 shutting off the tube 7. By adjusting the piston 0 the quantity of liquid soap to be delivered can turned to either side.
