This invention relates to Christmas-tree holders of that variety where novelty, in the way of miniature replicas of well-known objects, combine with the the holders aforesaid. v

The objectsof the invention are: the pro-' viding of a safe and ornamental tree holder utilitarian purposeof that will allow for innovations which will keep up the interest in festive customs. The providing of a braced tree holderwhich has all its mechanical-structural aspects masked in forms that present a more pleasingaid to the imagination. luminated means for an otherwise darkened and hidden area, which invites the at-' tention of observers by the pleasing effect produced. And the ofiering of an object which will provide an economical device that will dually function as an element of juvenileinterest asidefrom its uses as atre support.

Referringmore particularly to the drawings, D is a miniature reproduction of a. bungalow, or domicile, having all the essen V tial elements'that usually appear in replicas common to the dolls-house class. The house rests upon an integral base or yard B, which extends beyond the outline of the house proper, so that a wide area is covered for insuring against any tilting tendency, and,

also, for allowing the placing of other objects that may be added as seasonal adjuncts.

Having described the invention, what is claimed as being patentably novel and desirous of protecting by Letters Patent, is

An article'of, manufacture having, an inclosure accessibly covered, a hinged cover portion integrally combined with a rectangular tube, a fixed centering rest within said nclosure, and means residing in said tube for limiting the hinged portion to complete the inclosure cover when locating the rectangular tube spacedly above and axially aligned With the aforesaid centering rest.
