It is a further object of the invention to provide a mop which has two dusting elements of which each may be' used independently of the other or simultaneously with each other. With these and other objects in view 2Ol `the invention yconsists in certain novel combinations and arrangements of parts hereinl after more clearly described and finally pointed out in the appended claims and illustrated in the accompanying ldrawings in which:

T e forward end of this pieceof tubing is compressed so that the walls of the tube lie flat against each other and form' thereby the laminated plate 51 on whichk the clamping plates 41`are held by screw 52 and nut 53.
In operation this universal mop permits of many applications for which other mops cannot -be used as each\one of the two looped portions can be placed in front of the mop stick and used singly. Narrow spaces otherwise inaccessible can be cleaned in this manner, railings, the edges of boards and narrw ledges can be cleaned simultaneously on both sides by placing the two loops on opposite sides thereof. Eachmop can be used separate-until dirty or worn and then the second mop may take its' place. In any p09' sition into which either mop or ring may be placed it can be rotated completely in bearing 40 describing a sphere thereby which is of small diameter. and particularlyuseful for cleaning corners formed by two walls and ceiling for instance.v n
While I have shown and described the preferred form of my universal mop it is to be understood that such changes may be madey rings as comewithn the scope of the inven'? tion defined in the claims without departure Patent is:
