Ourinvention relates to adjustable mountings for motors and other small units of machinery.
It is an object of our invention to provide a base for a motor which maybe readily adjusted so as to shift the motor.
' A further object is to provide an adjustable sliding base for motors which is simple in construction, is very rigid and which can '10 be quickly and easily adjusted so as to clamp the motor base in any desired position. i

It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that slight changes, such as cutting the slots in the angle irons instead of in the base flanges, may be made without departure from 4 the-principles of our invention. We do not wish to limit our invent1on to the exact struc-v I ture disclosed, but whatwe claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:

An adjustable mounting for machinery comprising a movable base plate individually adapted to support a motor or the like having longitudinally extending lateral bearing surfaces at its outer lateralssides, parallel supporting members having longitudinally extending bearing surfaces adapted to coact with the aforesaid lateral surfaces and a single transversely extending'member passing through the base plate and said members adapted to simultaneous y clamp said surfaces together.
6. An adjustable mounting for machinery comprising a movable base plate individually adapted to support a motor or the like having longitudinally extending side flanges having lateral bearing surfaces, parallel supporting members hav ng longitudinally extending bearing surfaces adapted to. coact with the aforesaid lateral surfaces, a single trans versely extending bolting member adapted to simultaneously clamp said surfaces together and a tubular separator surrounding said bolting'member and serving to maintain said parallel supporting members in alignment.
