With these obj ects in view my invention consists generally in a base or body portion one face thereof being shaped and equipped to constitute a reflector, a bulb socket arranged to hold a bulb within said reflector and a plurality of radially arranged sockets on said body portion. My invention consists in a derice as mentioned in which all of said sockets are permanently connected in series and in which the body portion is formed of two detachable sections with the sockets and connections detachably arranged between them. My inventiin further consists in a device as mentioned in which the terminals of the circuit connections are arranged to be engaged by the contacts or an ordinary separable plug. My invention further consists in a device as mentioned equipped with a plurality of attaching devices arranged at intervals about the periphery of the body portion. My invention further consists in a device as mentioned in which the attaching means are readily removable in order that only those necessary for securing the device may be used. My invention further consists in various details of construction and arrangements of parts all as will be fully described hereinafterand particularly 1 pointed out in the claims.

In carrying out my invention the preferred form ofthe device is that of a star. This consists of a'- preferably circular body portion having arranged adjacent its periphery a plurality-of sockets toreceive electric bulbs and holdthem inzradiating position. As above stated the device is'particulnrly adapted for use on:G'hristmas trees, and'for arrangement within-wreaths. It is customary in the illnmination of Christmas trees to use the ordinary house current and provide a plurality of small lights in series. -The ordinary Mazda bulbs used for this purpose are tapering or conical in form'and arewell adapted to form points of a star.

Referr ng now to the drawings l indicates the base or body portion of. the device which is preferably formed of insulating material. The body is preferably cylindrical. and is formed of a front section 2 and a rear section 3 detachablv connected by a plurality of screws 4 extending through the rear member 3 and threaded. into bushings 5 secured to the rear face of the front section. Only one of the screws 4 are illustrated although any number may be employed. In the form illustrated I preferably use five such Screws, and the rear section 3 is perforated with a corresponding number of holes 6 to receive them. A plurality of radially arranged sockets 7 are positioned between the sections 2 and 3, said sections being correspondingly recessed as at 8 and 9 respectively to receive them. 10 indicates the tapered electric bulbs arranged within the sockets and forming the points of the star. The front of the section 2 is concavely formed as at 11 and the concave face is suitably treated to form a reflector.
