listening to Fig. 1 the ladle stopper rod assembly consists of a rod 1. having a pin 2 passing through the lower end thereof. I claim:
1. A ladle stopper head of refractory material provided with a closed end and h avinp; a recess and two channel members anchored in the recess substantially as and for the purposes described.
2. A ladle stopper rod assembly comprising in combination, a metallic rod, a pin through one end thereof, a stopper head ot refractory material h avine' bayonet slots therein adapted to receive the pin on said. rod and channel members mounted at the inner ends of said bayonet slots.
