ORNAMENT FOR BOBBED HAIR.

kind of hair ornament it happens easily that hairs are caught in the fixation so that the hair dress gets into disorder. These kinds of ornaments are further adapted only for long plaited and knotted hair.
This invention relates to hair ornaments free from said inconveniences specially designed for modern bobbed hair.
The hair ornament consists of a support,
designed to be placed under the hair and carrying sleeves into which pieces of jewelry and the like can be inserted by plugs, short pins projecting from the lower surface of the piece of jewelry bearing'with a slight pressure against the scalp so that the hair dress remains in order and is securely held by the ornaments.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated by way of example in the accompanying drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the hair ornament in perspec-' tive view.

Only some of the sleeves might be used for holding pieces of jewelry.
On the lower surface of the piece of jewelry 0 short studs f of suitable material, specially of rubber are arranged, preferably at the ends of the piece of jewelry and standing perpendicular to the same so that, when the piece of jewelry has been inserted in the sleeve 0, these studs f bear with slight pressure against the scalp and prevent slipping out of certain portions of the hair so that the hairdress is kept in order.
I claim 1. A hair ornament for bobbed hair, comprising in combination a resilient bow ofelastic material shaped in accordance with the shape of the head, sleeves fixed on and'projecting from said how, and pieces of jewelry having each a plug projecting from the lower surface designed to be inserted into one of said sleeves.

A. hair ornament for bobbed hair, comprising in combination a resilient bow of elastic material shaped in accordance with the shape of the head, sleeves fixed on and projecting from said bow, pieces of jewelry having each a plug projectingfrom the lower surface designed to be inserted into one of said sleeves, and studs of soft material like rubber projecting from the lower surface of the piece of jewelry so that they bear with slight pressure against the scalp when the 7 piece of jewelry has been inserted into a sleeve. 7 I
