The invention relates to improvements in indicating or countingdevices, andthe'sa-me has for its obje'ctto provide 'a devicewhich may be employed for th'epu'r'pose of keeping the score in games such as' golf,;cards,fctc. and for counting generally, or for indicating the time at which someiact or thing should be done or performed, as taking jo'r giw ing medicine, or for fixing thetime of adate or engagement. 4 I e I Another object of the invention is to provide an improved construction 'ofcounting 01'- indicating device, which. is easy to operate. and in which the indicating member will be held in anyposition-"to which the same may be adjusted. l

The embodiments of the invention illustrated in Figs. 1 to 3 and 7 are shown attached to a timepiece T such as a clock or watch, the.latter being illustrated in the drawing. The indicating 0r counting device A is shown in place upon the watch T.

In 'Fig. 8 is illustrated a further modification in which two rotatable rings 23 and 23 are employed in the attachment or device, the ring being empioyed to count. units, and the other ring-23 being employed to count multiples of said units. A device of the character described adapted for attachment to an indicating device including a dial having marks thereon arranged therearound andindicating units or multiples of units, said device comprising a member secured around the dial and comprising opposed circular flanges forming a channel therebetween, and a plurality of rings supported within said channel between said dial and said member and independently rotatable thereon around the dial and having indicating means cooperating with the marks on the :dial to count units and multiples of units, substantially as specified.

8. A device of the character described adapted for attachment. to an indicating device including a dial having characters thereon, indicating units and multiples of units, said device comprising an annular channel member having portions adapted to engage the edges and top-of said indicating device, means for detachably securing said channel member about said dial, an annular member rotatably disposed within said channel member between one of said portions and-said device, a pointer extending inwardly from said annular member and cooperating with the characters on said dial, and spring means for holding mid annular member to adjusted indicating position, substantially ias specified.
