My invention relates to improvements in tool handle extractors, and the purpose of the same is to facilitate the removal of worn or broken handles from tool heads.
My device is particularly useful for quickly removing handles from axes where heretofore considerable effort and exertion was required.
In lumber camps and in other places where axes are used, considerable time is spent in removing the handles from the ax heads. Not only is my extractor very useful for removing ax heads, but it is equally effective in re like numerals designate like tangular shaped plate 1 is moving pick handles, hammer handles, and in fact all tool handles, the-tool head of which being wedged on the handle in the usual well known manner. An object of my invention'is to provide such a tool handle extractor which will be simple in construction to allow a. low cost of but at the same time providing for the purpose desired, and which in the construction will be-very durable.
Other objects and advantages will become apparent as my invention is better understood fromithe specification and claims to follow.

As is clearly shown in Fig.- 1 of the drawings, in the operation of extracting an ax handle from the ax head, the porting members 4 are removed from associ ation with the plates.
