This invention relates to an apparatus used in a boot or shoe store for quickly and 6-6, Figure and efficiently fitting a customers foot with the proper size boot or shoe. V

The object of the invention is the production of a combination apparatus embodying a shoe stool, a foot measure, register and mirror. 7

Another object of the invention is the provision of simple and. ethcient means for accurately obtaining the size and last of a customers foot, for properly fitting the acustomerwith a'boot, shoe or slipper or the like.

This book holding device comprises plate 45 that has at one end a depending leg 46 and at its other end a depending lip 47 The leg 46 extends into the body, as shown in Figure 2, and a nail 48 holds the plate 45 in position. The lip 46 exten downward upon the body and slidably mounted on plate 45 contiguous to lip 47 is a sliding catch 49. The sale ticket is then made out on book 43. In case the salesman fails to make a sale, he has a ticket with a measurement on it, for which he must give an explanation of why the sale was not made, etc.

What I claim is: 1. In an apparatus of the class described, the combination with a body, of a plate provided with a slot on said body, a last determining device comprising a shoe in said slot,said shoe provided with means bridging the slot and engaging the plate, flanged guides extending from said sh e, a foot con tacting device slidably mounted in said flanged guides, and a punch mounted on said foot contacting device.

In an apparatus of the class described, the combination with a body, of a plate provided with a slot carried by said body, a record ticket adapted to pass ov r said plate, a determining device provided with a shoe slidably'mounted in said slot, said shoe provided with up ier and lower flanges engaging said plate, flanged guides extending from opposite sioes of said shoe, one of said guides provided with vertical apertures and projectin tongue, a footcontacting device provided with an upright and with a bottom, said bottom slidably mounted in said flanged guides, and a spring pressed punch on said upright and adapted to enter said vertical apertures when. operating upon said record ticket.

In an apparatus of the class described, the combination with a body, of a hinged plate on one end of said body, a record ticket roll under said hinged plate and provided with a portion threaded up through said plate and over a part of the top of said plate, measuring means carried by said plate and adapted to operate upon said ticket in a plurality of places, and said plate provided with clamping and cutting means for facilitating the severing of each individual ticket after a record has been established thereon. I
