a The present invention relates-to cleaning devices and more particularly to devices of this character for cleaning the mortar from reclaimed bricks, the invention embodying the provision of a rotatably mounted disk adapted to carry a plurality of cleaning pins 7 or prongs extending laterally from the face thereof against which the brick'may be held and through the rotary action of. the device to scrape and clean themortar from the brick,

A further object of the invention is to provide means for adj ustably mountlng the ends upon the disk so that upon the'wearing down of the pins, through usage, a suitable adjustment may be made so as to maintain the outer ends of the pins a uniform distance outwardly from the face of the disk.

A still further obj ect is to provide a device of this character of a simple and practical construction, which may beeasily and quickly attached and detached to any conventional rotating member, which rovides for the renewal of thecleaning on s from time to time as the same become worn, which is relatively inexpensive to manufacture and otherwise well adapted to the purposes for which the same is intended.

It will also be apparent that by holding theobject to be cleaned, as for instance a reclaimed brick which may be covered with quantity of mortar, against the face of the outer disk being provided with the pins at the rapid sectional movement of the ends of. the pins upon the brick will cause the mortar to be removed from the brick.
