The present invention relates to an electric terminal construction, and has for its object to provide a device of this character which is inexpensive in its construction and can be used in connection with any form. of electrical tool or appliance where a plug and socket con nection is desired.
Further objects of the invention are to provide a device of this character which can be manufactured very economically, which can be readily applied to any form of electrically heated or operated device, and which provides a quick and effective means for making or breaking the electrical connection. 7
While one particular embodiment of the invention is shown and described in this application for illustrative purposes it will; be understood thatmany modifications and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. l
For a. full understanding of theinvention reference is to be had to the following description and accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front elevation of a plate having one of the terminal sockets mounted thereon.

Figure 3 is a horizontal sectional view through the device on the line 3-3 of Figure 1.
Figure 4 is a rear view of the device.
Corresponding and like parts are referred to in the following description and indicated on all of the views of the drawing by like reference characters.
Referring to the drawings, the reference character A designates an elongated socket into which a set of terminal'pins 1 project. The terminal pinsare carried by a block 2 of lava or other insulating material which is secured to the socket at the back thereof. The
