` This. invention vrelates to tickets, more particularly to the stub form of tickets, and has for its object to provide, in a manner as hereinafter set forth-a ticket having coacting means for concealing the price ofthe ticket until the ticket is severed from its stub. Y Y v A` furtherobject ofthe invention is to provid-e, in a'manner as hereinafter setvforth, arbook of consecutivelynumbered, different `priced tickets, each including a stub portion correspondingly numbered and with the kticket having coacting means for normally c oncealing the price thereof until the ticket is severedvfrom the stub portion, and further with the stub portion having recording spaces for the name and address'of the purchaser of the ticket'iii case it is desired to communicatewith the purchase`r.

Further objects of the invention are to provide, in aman'ner as hereinafter set forth, a ticket ofthe coupon type'whieh'jis simple inits cons'tructionand arrangement, strong, durable, compact, thoroughly efficient in its use, conveniently rsevered to permit of ascertaining the price of the ticket, and comparatively inexpensive'to manufacture.

With the'foregoing and Aother objects in view the invention consists ofthe novel con- Y struction, combinationrand arrangement of parts as hereinafter more specifically described, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein is shown an embodiment of the invention, but it is to be understood that changes, variations andmodiiications can be resortedto whichfall within the scope of the claims hereunto appended.

lPreferably a ticket construction, in accordance with this invention, is in the forni of a book having each lea'f'or page thereof consisting of a plurality of tickets, as. shown by Way of example a pair detachably connected together and each. ticket consisting of a'body portiondetachably connected to a stub portion and with the latter commento bot-h body portions'. The setting up ofeach leaf or pagel with a pairof tickets provides what may be termed vtwo packs vof tickets and the tickets of each packf'are consecutively numbered. The stubs are also consecutively numbered in two series yand the numbers of one series correspondto the consecutive numbers of one of the packs and the ,numbers of they other series correspond to the consecutive numbers of the other of the packs'of tickets,` The book will be provided Witha cover and with the cover formed of ltwo sections detachably. connected together.

Each of the leaves of the bookis formed from a rectangular sheet ofpaper stock of suitable thickness bent uponv itself to provide a body part 1 and a transverse fold 2 overlapping and secured to the outer face of the-body part 1. The width of the fold 2 is materially less than halfthe length of the body part 1. The inner side edge of the fold is positioned between thetransverse median and the inner end edge 3 of the body part 1 and said inner edge 3 is formed by the bend betweenthe ypart 1 and fold 2.' The outer end edge of the body part 1 is indicated at 4. v

The body part and fold of each sheet are weakened transversely and longitudinally by rows of spaced indentations or perforations as illustrated at 5, 6,17 and 8'. As a new article of manufacture a ticket comprising a body portion and a stub pore tion severably connected together, said body portion having integral at one end thereof a pair of opposed coacting parts for concealing appropriate indicia, said parts normally connected to said stub portion to con,- ceal such indicia and free of connection with each other whereby when said body portion the latter to the former, said body part andv fold providing a body portion and a stub portion severably connected together, the nonsecured portions of the fold andv body parts positioned at .one end of the body portion and forming opposed coacting parts for concealing appropriate indicia, said coacting parts normally connected to said stub portion to conceal such indicia and-free of connection with each otherwhereby when saidbody portion and parts are severed from the stub portion said parts can be shifted relative to each other to expose the indicia, said coacting parts when severed from the stub portion being in the form of tabs extending lfrom the inner end of the body portion.

A ticket comprising a sheet of materialbent upon itself toform a body part and a fold, means for securing the major portion of the latter to the former, said body part and fold providing a body portion and a stub por-v tion connected together, the non-secured portions of the fold and body parts positioned at one end of the body portion and forming v opposed coacting parts for concealing appropriate indicia, said coacting parts normally connected to said stub portion to conceall such indicia and free of connection with each other whereby when said body portion and parts are severed from the stub portion said parts can be shifted relative to eachother to expose the indicia, and said fold and body part formed with opposed transverse scores offset intermediate the ends thereof.

A ticket comprising a sheet of material bent upon itself to form a body part and a fold, means for securing the maj or portion of the latter to the former, said body part and Yfold providing a body portion and a stub portion severably connected together, said non-secured portions of the fold and body part positioned at one end of the body portion and forming opposed coacting parts for concealing appropriate indicia, sald coacting parts normally connected to said stub portion to conceal such indicia and freeof con nection with each other'whereby when said body portion and parts are severed from the stub portion said parts can be shifted relative yto each other to expose the indicia,-said coact-l
