With these and other objects in view, my invention consists in the construction, arrangement and combination of the various parts of my calendar structure, whereby the objects contemplated are attained, as hereinafter more fully set forth, pointed out in my claims, and illustrated inthe accompanying drawings, in which:
Figure 1 is a front elevation of a calendar embodying my invention. v

Figure 3 is a front elevation of the device with the front cover removed; and
Figure 4 is an elevation similar, to Figure .3. with the front disk removed.
I have illustrated my device in connection with a calendar, the back of which is indicated by the reference numeral 10 and formsv a support for the remaining parts.
Rotatably secured to the back; 10 are disks 11 and 12. For securing thedisks 11 and 12 to the back 10, I employ tubular rivets or the like 13. The dials 11 and 12 are used for the purpose of determining the proper calendars to use for any given month of any given year and are not essentially a. part of this invention.
The indicating characters on them areexposed through slots 14 in the back 10. Overlying the dials 11 and 12 is a larger dial 15 rotatably secured to the back 10 by a tubular rivet 16. The dial 15 when used in connection with a calendar, has a set of calendars 17 on its front side. Each calendar is given a number 18'which indicates which day of the week the month indicated by that calendar begins on. Any one of the calendars 17 may provide a sight openin or Aims,- IOWA.

It may here be mentioned that the indicating characters on the dial 21 consist of the names of the months and the number of'days thereof as indicated by the reference nu- I meral 24.
In order to render the indicating characters 24 visiblethrough the opening 23, I provide an opening 25 in the disk 15 of substantially the same shape as the opening 23 and whic registers therewith when any calendar 17' is exposed through the opening 20. It will be noted that there is an opening 25 correspond ingto each calendar 17 whereby the disk 15 in any of its proper adjusted positions'will allow a portion of the disk '21 to be exposed throughthe opening 23. In order to allow manipulation of the disksll, 12, "1 5, and 21,- Iprovide cut- away portions 26, 27, and- 28 of the back 10. The front 19 is suitably secured to the backlO by rivets or the like 29v whereby thetubular rivets 13, 16,and 22 are concealed. 1 It will be obvious that this device need not bellimited to one having' rotating disks but'would answer as well in a device having sliding parts with indicating characters thereon in which certain of sa d slid- I ing parts overlie others.
Having thus describedmy 1nvention,itwill be seen that I have provided a means whereby indicating characters on certain'disks or the like will be exposed to view throu h openings in the disk overlying them w en the overlying disk is in any of its predetermined adjusted positions.
