As illustrated, the reenforced concrete slab 10 according' to my invention has bevelled outer edges 11 and an inner reentorcing wire screen 12 embedded into the material thereof. v
At certain points, preferably near vits outer edges, the slab is equipped with oppositely disposed sockets 13, having` out wardly projecting annular flanges. 13 formed on the upper portion thereof and embedded in and flush with the upper Yliace ot said slab, said sockets being spaced from each other tor the reception ot' screws 14 or the like fastening means tor securely attaching the slabsto their supporting beams 15 or the like.
As illustrated in Figures 2 and 3 the concrete slabs according to my invention are made in moulds 16 the side-bars 17 of which have inner, oppositely Vdisposed beveled edges 18, which facilitates the removal ot the iinished slabs trom their moulds. v
According to my invention the reentorcf ing, screen 12 -is laidlupon the mould bottom 16 and then the plastic concrete mass ispoured `into the mould, so that the screen will float within this mass as clearly illustrated in Figure 3 and thus duringthe hardening` process becomes firmly embedded into the `slab at a certain distance from its lower side. v From the above description it will be clear that l have invented a reentorced con-A crete slab which can be economically and cheaply manufactured by unskilled labor, a slab which does not stick to the form on account of itsbeveled edge, and which can be taken out ot' the :torm whenstill in semi* plastic condition, just as soon as it has sutticiently set.
lt will be understood that such changes may be made in the general construction and in the method of making my novel and improved reentorced concrete slab as come within the scope oi" the appended clannwithout departure trom the spirit of my invention and the principle involved.A

allowing the passage of fastening screws embedded in the slab near its side edges, outwardly projecting annular anges formed on the upper edge of said 'sockets embedded in and flush' with the upper face of said slab and washers interposed between said mouth pieces and the heads of the fastening screws the reenforeing screen surrounding said sockets.
