HAIR LOTION.

The object of this invention is the production of a hair lotion composition to be applied to the-hair durin the process of permanent waving, the ofifize of the lotion being to make the hair soft and susceptible to proper curling when the waving rod is in position and heat is applied in the usual.

My compositionconsists of a mixture of borax, bicarbonate of soda, starch and linseed oil. In preparing the composition, I prefer to use the ingredients in the followin proportions: i. e.
Three and three-fourths Three and one-half poun soda.

My composition is inexpensive, is not injurious to the hair, and possesses in a high degree all the desired properties of a hair lotion to be used in the production of a permanent wave when the heating process is starch, one-eighth to one-fourth pound of linseed oil. 3.
