The object ot this iii'lvent-ion. is `to provide a calendar having meai'is .whereby any one oi' the days or dates `may be conveniently displayed or indicated in a more prominent manner than the others and` so that the means for doing this may be moved so as to be applied to any selected date. The indicator `or means by which a lected date is emphasized is arranged to be easily movable while at the same time its method of support is vnotrcadily discernable.` Further objects of the invention will be ascertained by thefollowing description. 'l f Briefly the inventionmay be said to consist in employing a supporting frame ot suitable construction having an opening in one wall `for the exposurefof calendar or other cards or plates. Means areprovided for detachably supporting one `or a number of interchangeable cards or plates behind the opening. A transparent disc or plate is arranged across the lopening and in front of the calendar card which will show through it. The transparent discor plate is provided with a ring or other conspicuous marking meansand is held `by friction so that it may be freely moved in any direction to permit the distinguishing mark to be aligned with any one oi the dates on the exposed calendar card.
A suitable construction of frame may comprise front and reanwall members secured together or adapted to be secured together vat their edges. The rear wall may be provided with slots or other means for supporting a number ot calendar cards that they may be readily changed, "whilst the front member is provided with an opening through which one of the calendar cards may` be viewed. ,The Celluloid for kother transparent disc or plate'having a ring or other distinguishing` mark thereon is arranged across the opening and between the front Wall member and the calendar card which shows through it. Another method of supporting the cards or plates may consist in providing an opening in the rear wall opposite to and larger than the opening in the `front wall, such opening in Ythe rear y wall accommodating a relatively movallle portion carrying a support fora number of interchangeable cards.
In the accompan ing `sheet of drawings two embodiments o the' invention are illustrated.
