- My invention relates to improvements in straining presses for extracting liquids from moist substances of various kinds and more particularly to presses of the type having a press chamber of annular cross section through. which the material is passed, said chamber being mainly composed of two cylinders, one of the latter or preferably both "being perforated and the moist substances being continuously fed'and squeezed through the space between said perforated cylinders.
- the object of my invention is to provide a press of this character which is very simple in its construction. containing no complicated parts as worms safety couplings gear wheels and the like, and which can be manufactured, sold and .maintained its place by means of a ring 11 surroundlng at comparatively low cost.
