rlhis invention relates to receptacles and particularly for two-part receptacles or containers designed for holding two chemicals such as may be used together. One object of my invention is to provide a container in which each receptacle may be separately filled and closed so that danger of prematurely mixing the contents is eliminated. Another object is to provide a strong light container which may be readily shipped without danger of the contents of the two containers becoming prematurely contaminated. Another object is to provide a receptacle with a relatively cheap inner container which may be made of fibrous materials, such as press or fiber board, and to pro vide a suitable construction for supporting the inner container in the outer container, said supporting device forming a seat for a cover for the inner container. ther objects will appear hereinafter from the following specification, the novelrfeatures being particularly pointed out in the claims at the end thereof.

As shown in Fig. l, the preferred embodiment of my invention consists of an outer container l, which is shown in broken lines for clearness. This container may have a bottom wall Zand flat upper rolled edge 3.

l prefer to form the inner container of fibrous material which is light and strong, such as tubularly wound cardboard, as this for most purposes is a suitable material, and with the other parts above mentioned made from sheet metal forms a sufliciently strong receptacle. I do not, however, wish to be limited to the material mentioned except as noted in the following claims.
Having thus described my invention, what claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
l. In a two-part receptacle, the combination with an outer container, of an inner container adapted to be supported by a part cover for the outer container, said partcover including an annular member having an offset wall adapted to frictionally engage the outer container, and including` a pair of spaced inner walls connected by an annular wall, a channel shaped ring having two walls engaging the spaced inner walls and having an edge of one wall bent upon one of the walls whereby a reinforced double walled opening is provided, an inner container 'supported by the ring, and a cover for the inner container adapted to engage the double walled opening.
2. In a two-part receptacle, the combination with an outer container of an inner container adapted to be supported by a partcover for the outer container, said partcover including an annular member having an otl'set wall adapted to frictionally engage the outer container, and including a pair of spaced inner walls connected by an annular angularly disposed wall, a channel shaped ring having walls engaging the spaced .walls of the part-cover, and a wall spaced from the angularly disposed wall thereof whereby a reinforced support is provided, an inner receptacle having a periphery crimped on said ring and a cover for closing the inner receptacle.
3. ln a twopart receptacle, the combination with an outer container, of an inner container adapted to be supported by a metallic part-cover for the outer container, said part-cover including a pair of inner spaced walls, connected by a wall angularly disposed with regard to the two walls, said inner cont-ailier beingy of compoeition material, a metallic ring crimped upoii u? periphery of the inner container, said ring having a pair o'Lwalls engaging' the spaced offset Wallsvof the part-cover,` one wail being` bent upon a Wall of the part-Cover whereby a reinforced opening is provided for loading the inner container, :md a cover adapted to engage the Walls of the' opening@ the inner receptacle and part-cover forming 'a com- 10 plete closure for the outer container.
