IMPROVEMENT IN REED-ORGANS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No- 166,437, dated August 3, 1875; application filed April 7, 1875.

The drawing is a vertical section through the sub-base of the instrument, showing the application of my improvement thereto.

What I do claim is- 1. The combination of the chamber G, reedcells A, reeds (J, and chamber E, when said parts are arranged in substantially the manner described and shown, and for the purposes set forth.
2. The combination of the reed-cells A, reeds 0, and chamber E with a resonant chamber,
G, arranged to overhang said chamber E and leave a space, H, for the egress of sound from the reeds, substantially .as described and shown.
