With the foregoing and other objects in view, the invention consists of the construction, combination and arrangement of parts hereinafter fully described and claimed, and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:

The holder may be made of rectangular formation in plan, as shown in Figures 1, 2 and 3 or of triangular formation in plan, as shown in Figures 4 and 5. It comprises corner posts 1 and side posts 2 of which the former are longer than and extend above the latter. Side boards 3 are secured to and between the posts 1 and 2,'end boards 4 are secured to and between the posts 1, and a board 5 is secured to and between the posts 2. These boards are located at thelower end of the holder, and their lower edges terminate short of the lower ends of the posts 1 and 2. Outer side boards, 9- and 10 are secured against the outer sides of the posts land 2, end boards 11 are secured to and between the posts 1, and a board 12 is secured to and between the posts 2. These boards are located at the upper end of the holder, and in conjunction with the boards 3, 4 and 5 separate the'holder into compartments for the reception of golf bags and clubs. Boards 13 View in front elevation of securedto and between the boards 3, 4 and- 5 provide bottoms for the compartments and are spaced to provide openings 14in order to permit dust and other foreign matter accumulating in the compartments to be 60 readily removed therefrom.
:The compartments 23-26 are closed by a lid 30 which is secured to the board 9 by hinges 31 and when closed occupies a down- Wardly and outwardly inclined position. A hook and eye 32 of which one is carried by the board 12 and the other by the lid 30 are employed for the purpose of securing the a lid in closed position. When in closed position this lid rests-upon the upper end of the posts 2 and the upper edges of the boards 9 and 15. A lid 32 which is secured to the board 10 by hinges 33, is employed for the purpose of covering the compartments 27 and 28. This lid rests when in closed position on the upper end of the other post 2 and the upper edges of the boards 10 and 16, and
is adapted to be secured in closed position by a hook and eye 34 of which one is secured to the board 12 and the other to the lid. 4
