This invention relates to improvements in knock down display stands for use wlthin show windows and other places where small articles of merchandise are to be displayed and which owing to the construction thereof may be readily and easily knocked down or taken apart to facilitate the packrng of the stand in a compact position and wlthin 11mited space.

In Figures 5 to 7 inclusive 1 have illustrated a modified form of the invention con templating the provision of a single strip forming the body 10 and supported upon its forward and lower edge by a correspondingly'shaped supportingleg 13 while-its upper portion having provided cutout portion, not shown, for the reception of the corresponding portion 14; provided in the upperend of a substantially inverted'V- The modification being much more simple and cheaper in construction and capable of being packed and shipped within less space than taken by the preferred form.

The invention is susceptible of various shaped brace plate 15.
