Yention in order to imparts full, elear and exact understanding of the said embodiment. I do not desire, however, to be understood as confinin myself to the specific construetion and relative arrangement of parts inns much as in the futurepraetiee of the invention various changes and modifications may be madesneh as fall within the scope i illl jf invention as defined in my appended claim. Ha ving thus describedtheinveni ion, what 1 olninied nnddesired ltOlJQ set'ured by Letters Patent, is: i i i A device of the eharneterdesenihed, coniprising a resilient wire member having an upper and lower loop medially fastened itogather, the outer end of seidupper loop heing adapted to fit on top of thethircl joint ot the second finger of the writing hand, the outer end of said lower loop being adapted to fit on top of the first joint of said finger, the medial fastening being adapted to movah1y vfit centrally under said second finger, the whole being adapted to inovzibly tighten and loosenon said linger on its being bent or straightened; an open topped resilient ferrule member rigidly fastened at itsupper periphery to theouter endiof said lower loop at an angle, and being ndaptedtocseenrely hold for writing purposes writing utensils. i
