:My invention. relates toimprovements in I Watchmakefscabinet or desk, the mainobject being the provision of a structurewhich will be compact in sizeifto occupy a small amount of space and whichwill accommodate all the implements and accessories used by the watchmaker an'datthe'same time provide a perfect work bench and protection for the motor and lathe.
Another object of my invention is the provision of a, cabinet or desk which will arrange all the implements and accessories in the most convenient places and which while of small and compact size will have a very large holding or accommodating capacity and which will be of ornamental and attractive appearance.
' Another obiect of my invention is a provision of a cabinet or. desk which will be ofv simple, strong and durable construction,
which can be produced at the right price all things considered and which in every par-v ticular will be desirable and the purposes intended.
With these objects in viewmy invention consists of a deskor cabinet embodying novel features of construction and arrangement of parts for service, substantially as de scribed and defined by they claim, and as shown in the accompanying drawings, in which:

The numeral 1 designates the top forming the bench of-;my 'cabinet, -which is of rec- "tangular shape audofthe desired size and .is provided with a suitablerim or flange 2, whichpis open at thefront and-upon the rear-portion of the bench is mounted the case which is provided with glass enclosures 4, in the :form of sliding doors and this enclosure provides the motor case and has'openings 5, to allow the passage of the belt to the lathe, which is not shown.
The desk is provided with the front board 6, in which is mounted the drawer 7 for the reception of materials and the drawer 7', for
receiving the balance stafis, jewels and providing a bottle rack, said drawer being.
shown in Figure 5 and having a wall 8 PTO". vided with receiving openings 8.
Between the drawers 7 and 7 is locate a plate 9, formed with an opening 9, in which is mounted the filing block 10, said filing block moving in guides 11, extending from the front board 6, and -is provided with a cross strip 12, to which at one end is connectedthe chain 18, which passes out through the opening 14 and is provided with a ring 15, the purpose of which is to slide the block out when desired, the block in normal position being pushed back in the guide and out of the way.
The desk is provided with the end walls 16, and the intermediate walls 17, which are spaced apart to form the chamber or recess 18, which receives the legs and feet of the watchmaker when atwork, and in the spaces thus formed. at, each side is mounted the pair of sliding drawers 19, which are designed as chuck drawers, the series of three drawers 20, which are de-' signed to receive crystals, and the two lower drawers 21 for work and envelope reception and the drawer 22 for receiving mainand clock springs. I On the'opposite side of thedesk in the space provided is, theupperdrawer 2-3 which is to receive graving tools and is provided with a suitable rack 24 and below this drawer is the drawer 25 which is adapted toserve as a tool compartment, havinga receptacle portion 26 and a toolv receiving plate26 while below said latter drawer are the series of additional drawers 27. y
In the space at thetop is mounted a drawer '28 which is desirable for the recep-, tion of the workers apron and below this drawer is the open orframe shaped drawer ion 29, Which has mounted in the outer portion thereof the plate 30 having cups 31 to receire benzine and Wood alcohol, winch cups are protected by the sliding cover 32,. guided in the ways 38, ofsaid open frame shaped drawer.
It will be noted from the drawingstaken in connection with the description that I provide a desk or cabinet which receives the materials, tools and accessories used by the watehmaker and arranges them in the most desirable and convenient position to permit ready access and use and that I provide a desk or cabinet which Will recommend itself as meeting every requirement of the watchmaker for a practical useful and desirable strueture of this character.
I claim:
A drawer for use in a \vatehmakers cabinet, comprising a rectangular frame, the said frame being provided with transverse and longitudinal guides, a plate provided with depressed cups mounted in said transverse guides, the said plate being of less width than the internal Width of said frame,
an apron tray. of less length than the internal length of said frame and-mounted in said longitudinal guide above said plate, whereby the said tray may he slid over said plate.
