My inventionrelates to improvements in corner brackets for securing wire lath to the conveXed corners of lthe perpendicular walls of stuccoed structures, although also applicable to other cornersandconvexed edges of such structures, andone of the objects of the present inventionis ythe .provision of corner u brackets` v secured in longitudinally spaced apart order to theconvexed corners of stuccoed structures for spacing wire lath a distance outwardly from the apeXes thereof;-y ay further object is Vthe provision of' a corner bracket embodying a length of wire having its intermediateportion formed into a lath supporting bar, and having other portions formed into oppositely inclined wall bars adapted -to straddle the apex of the., corner and secured to opposite Vsides thereof, for supporting the V'lath supporting bar outstandingly therefrom andparallel therewith. 1

With the foregoing and 'still further objects and purposes in view which will appear as the description proceeds, my invention resides inthe. combination and arrangement of parts and in the details of construction hereinafter described and claimed, it kbeing vunderstood that changes in the precise embodiment ofthe invention herein disclosed can be made within the scope of `what is claimed without departing from the 'spirit of the invention. f

Referring to the drawings in detail, throughout which like reference characters designate like parts;

The numeral l designates the wall studs, and 2 the wall sheathing, of the rectangularly intersecting portions of two perpendicular wallsof a stucco structure. l

The wall sheathing 2, which may comprise ordinary siding boards, wall-board composition, or tar paper or other'suit-able wall covering, is vpreferably'secured across the face of the studs l in close-jointed order so as to form as nearly as practicable a continuous and uninterrupted backing for the reception of the stucco composition.

The-planes of the loops or wall bars 6 cross the planes of the wall bars 7 at right angles, and at theirpoint of intersection Vcross the plane of the spacing bars 5 at angles of 45 degrees therewith.

The outer ends of the loops 6 are laterally extended to provide nail openings 9.

The brackets 3 are disposed to ride the apenr of the corner with the lath supporting bar 4 extending parallel ktherewith and equi-distant'from the plane of either wall, and-are preferably attached by disposing them, one'at a time, in the position shown in Figure 3, namely, with the loops 6 engaging the face of the sheathing 2 on one side4 of the corner and the pointed ends of the prongs 8 `engaging the sheathing on the opposite side thereof, and then driving the prongs thereinto until the bars 7 seat firmly against the face thereof (see Figure 4), after lwhich nails 10 are driven through the openings 9 into the sheathing for further securing the bracket.
